In this video Heimler shares his thoughts on how to lecture effectively in the classroom. These principles apply to lectures in the K12 classroom as much as they to lecturing in college or lecturing on Zoom.

A good lecture is cast in a narrative arc, has kinetic energy abounding, and aims for the affections of the students. Admittedly, some of these principles are difficult to apply if you still have to lecture with a mask, but the difficulty does not diminish the principles.

If you have other principles on lecturing you've learned over the years, put them in the comments and let's start a discussion!
