What is a nondisclosure agreement (NDA)?

Designing a product which unique and is your brainchild has got its emotional and monetary value attached. Sometime as young designers you may have insecurities about your product being copied and sold and find other people profiting from it. To avoid there is no harm signing a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) with your manufacturer (3:36). NDA must clearly state the uniqueness of the product that you are protecting and should be fairly time bound. The agreement should please both parties and help in building further trust.
