This stepbystep tutorial shows you how to knit a round basket using a loom. The whole project is worked in flat panel, so any loom works (round looms & rake looms). The basket is made of a circle base, that is worked first, and a 2color body that is loom knitted directly attached to it.

LOOM: Any loom can be used. The loom I use in this project is a 31peg L gauge round loom, but I don't use all the pegs, I just work on some of them in flat panel.

YARN: The yarn I use here is a bulky weight yarn (size #6). If your thread is thinner than mine (a medium weight yarn), I recommend you to use 2 strands at the same time. For this project, I used a yarn called Katia Canada.
