This DIY Translucent Cabinet is made out of Polycarbonate and ¾ inch thick Oak. I am really into ultra modern furniture and mixing space age materials with natural wood right now. The triple wall opal polycarbonate that I used cut easily with a circular saw and a finish blade. In fact I only used basic hand held power tools to make this 6foot 5inch cabinet.
