Flag Books are really exciting and relatively easy to make bindings. They are based on an accordion folded to have very small sections. Small strips of paper, the flags, are attached to each section of of the accordion. The resulting book folds out to a panoramic view of the entire book, and page to page viewing also gives the opportunity to feature text or close up images as well.

You will need:

A strip of paper for the concertina I used one that was 5.5 x 18 inches long (grain short)
18 Small strips of paper for the flags mine were 1 7/8 x 3.5 inches
A strip of card stock for the cover cut to the height of your book mine was 5.5 x 18 inches long
A bone folder or folding tool
Double Sides tape, glue stick, or pva glue
Triangle or ruler
