Floater Frame: A type of frame made to give art the illusion of floating inside the picture frame without touching it, which creates an interesting visual detail and a sense of threedimensional depth in the overall display.

In this video I’m going to try and explain how I make my own custom art frames for my oil paintings. It’s a pretty easy and inexpensive project that can be made simpler by using less layers to create a more minimal look following the same general process seen here.
