I made 2 pounds of bacon candy (also called pig candy) and lucky for you, I got the whole process on video!
You need a pound of bacon, some maple syrup and Jeff's original rub or other low salt, great tasting barbecue rub and you're good to go!
Once this goes in the smoker, maintain 225250°F and you're looking at 2 to 2.5 hours just depending on how done you like it.
Once it's finished, it'll most likely be soft but it will firm up once it starts cooling down.
