How To Make Big Chunky Rolled Paper Beads From Magazines DIY Recycled Paper Bead Craft

Magazines and newspapers are great for making big, chunky, rolled paper beads because you can cut multiple layers at once with a sharp blade. You could cut strips one at a time but that would take forever.

You need a firm grip and a lot of glue for this.

In this video I am using a magazine with 22 pages so each bead has 22 strips.

These can be painted and glazed if you don’t like the natural look.

A lot of the paper beads I make are made from recycled paper or food packaging. Some are made from greeting cards, junk mail, and grocery store flyers. Others are made from various other papers including scrapbook paper, computer paper, and cardstock.

Some are made with hand painted papers, or strips that have been hand coloured with markers.

There are so many ways you can make rolled paper beads and a lot of different materials you can use.
