INGREDIENTS:
1 Quart milk
1 cup sugar
¼ Tbsp Vanilla
¼ tsp baking soda

Or

1 Gallon milk
4 cups sugar
1 Tbsp Vanilla
1 tsp baking soda

For salted caramel, add ¼ to ½ tsp salt per ½ pint jar.
For chocolate caramel, add 1 Tbsp cocoa per ½ pint jar.

CANNING DETAILS:
¼ in headspace
Water bath for 20 minutes for ½ pints
