About Krishna Janmashtami :
Krishna Janmashtami ( कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी ),: Kṛṣṇa Janmāṣṭamī), also known simply as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu. It is observed according to Hindu lunisolar calendar, on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the month of Shravana of the Hindu Calendar.

From Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna

Experience cold or heat, pleasure or pain. These experiences are fleeting; they come and go. Bear them patiently.

The wise sees knowledge and action as one; they see truly.

Do everything you have to do, but not with greed, not with ego, not with lust, not with envy but with love, compassion, humility and devotion

Krishna insisted on outer cleanliness and inner cleansing. Clean clothes and clean minds are an ideal combination.

The mind acts like an enemy for those who do not control it.

Perform your obligatory duty, because action is indeed better than inaction.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

The mind is restless and difficult to restrain, but it is subdued by practice.

The disunited mind is far from wise; how can it meditate? How be at peace? When you know no peace, how can you know joy?

Intelligence refers to the power to analyze things in their proper perspective, and knowledge refers to understanding what is spirit and what is matter.
