BBQ/ Buffalo Mushroom Wings

12 oz. Maitake mushrooms (You can also use oyster or Lion's Mane

1 cup plant milk mixed with 2 tsp ground flax

½ cup arrowroot starch

¼ cup oat flour ( organic and glyphosate free)

Cherry BBQ Sauce and/or Mango Buffalo Sauce    • Cherry BBQ Sauce & Spicy Mango Buffal...  


INSTRUCCTIONS:

Break mushrooms into appropriate size pieces.

Combine arrowroot and oat flour in a bowl and mix.

One at a time, dip mushroom pieces into liquid, then flour mixture, back in the liquid, then bread crumbs. Continue until all pieces are nicely coated.

Add breaded pieces to a parchmentlined baking sheet and bake at 350F for 1015 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove mushroom “wings” from the oven and brush generously with BBQ or Buffalo sauce. Bake an additional 1015 minutes. Top with extra sauce if desired. Enjoy!
