When you press the up and down buttons at the same time you will enter a maintenance mode. In that maintenance mode you can change all sorts of things like adjust the brightness of your display, turn off auto cruise, remove the speed limiter, etc.

To make your scooter go faster, change setting 8 to a higher number.
