To mute your TV audio when using an Xbox headset with your Xbox Series X, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the Xbox guide.
Scroll down and select Settings.
Choose Volume and audio output.

Under Additional Options, toggle on Mute speaker audio when headset is attached.
