Since completing her first thruride of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2014, Gillian Larson has gone on to log more than 11,000 backcountry miles in the western U.S. Her love of the outdoors and her passion for riding fuel these adventures. Besides the PCT, Gillian has also ridden the Arizona Trail, the Colorado Trail, the Continental Divide Trail, and the John Muir Trail, among other wilderness routes in Colorado, Montana, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, as well as her native California. Striving to be a mentor and educator for aspiring backcountry riders, Gillian cultivates an ethos of equestrian travel that is modern and progressive, blending enjoyment of our natural treasures with respect and care for her equine partners.
