I've been particularly interested in drawing characters lately, so I created today's video featuring the redhaired girl. I also enjoy fantasy creatures and backgrounds, so there might be more related videos in the future! :)

Painting steps:
0:00 Skin Base Color
I start by applying a bit of cold tone (Ultramarine + Emerald Green) to the localized areas of the skin. Then, I add diluted Burnt Sienna and orange. Once the base color is slightly dry, I use pink to paint the lips, eye areas, and cheeks. I blend a darker brown (orange + Burnt Sienna + Sepia + Ultramarine) for the neck, forehead, and eye sockets. Then, I wait for this layer to dry.

6:25 Using a Light Color to paint the base bolor of the clothes and adding lines to the clothes

7:44 Hair and Hat
I mix Quinacridone Red + Burnt Sienna + a hint of Ultramarine to paint the hair. For the braids, I use Rose Quartz (White Nights 367) to create a pink gradient. Before the hair dries, I connect the strokes to paint the hat. We can creates multiple cold tones inside the hat, such as blue, purple, and gray, which complement the warm tones of the hair. Then, I add darker colors to embellish certain areas.

11:17 Chin strap
When the paper is partially dry but not completely dry, I use a ruler to scrape off the color to depict the chin strap. Alternatively, you can use a credit card or a brush to lift the paint.

11:40 Blue Hairband
I don't dwell too much on details; instead, I apply a light color first and then use blue to add patterns using the wetonwet technique.

12:14 Details
I add details to the hair, clothing, and facial features, occasionally switching to a smaller brush for precision. Don't forget the shadows of the head and braids on the clothes and shoulders. Finally, you can add freckles to the face and strands of hair.
