Hello everyone!

Today, I'll be sharing how I painted a simple snowy landscape using watercolors!

0:00 sky
I squeezed some Lavender onto the palette for later use and painted the sky using Chromium yellow hue deep, Cadmium red light, Lavender, and Cobalt blue. Then, I waited for this layer to dry.

1:51 Mountains
I started by painting the mountain peaks with a bit of light orange. Then, I began blending in Lavender and Ultramarine, even adding some Emerald green. Overall, I aimed to give the snowy mountains some color variation to make them more interesting.

3:06 Mountain strokes
Before the base color dried, I used slightly darker colors (a mix of Ultramarine and Cadmium red light to get a bluegray) to add some strokes. Then, we waited for it to dry.

4:08 Ground
Since the bottom of the mountains had sharp edges, I used a brush to soften them. Then, I started painting the base color using Carmine, Lavender, Ultramarine, and Cobalt blue.

7:04 Trees on Both Sides
Before the base color dried, I added some grayblue (a mix of Ultramarine and Cadmium red light to form a bluegray) and brown to depict the clusters of trees on both sides and elements of the landscape.

8:40 Path
I painted a dark path partially covered with snow.

1:30 Final details
Added smaller brushstrokes to the ground and distant mountains. And there you have it!

I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for watching :)
