About Me

I'm Katerina Kolberg, an awardwinning illustrator from Oslo. My company, Akvarelldesign, produces illustrations and visual communication for branding and package design. Akvarelldesign works for international and Norwegian companies, such as Tine, Nora, Ringnes, Yoplait, and Fairmont Hotels, to name a few.

​I use watercolours and enjoy creating rich botanical illustrations, elegant florals and mouthwatering food illustration. I focus on details and accurately representing the subject matter. My goal is to capture the beauty in nature, by just brushes and paint. I have a passion for pure, bright colours and enjoy seeing how others react to my distinctive style. I have been fortunate to collaborate with a number of design agencies worldwide, where I was commissioned to create illustrations for packaging, surface design and also animated advertising campaigns for TV.
