In this tutorial, Jennylyn teaches you how to paint suede and velvet fabric with Fusion Mineral Paint.

In order to have success on these more plush fabrics, it is very important that you follow these steps:
1. Clean your fabric! Use a vacuum cleaner to remove all the dirt and debris. You may need to give it a wash as well.
2. Apply first layer as half paint, half water. If your paint mixture is having trouble soaking in, try dampening your fabric with water as well.
3. Sand! You want to sand in between every layer of paint in order to smooth out any fibers that are sticking out.
4. Paint add a little more paint to your mixture and apply your second coat.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 until you have a solid coverage from the paint.
6. Wax this step is optional, but we like to wax our fabric to make it ohsosoft.
