The single leg RDL is an incredible exercise to help correct instability in areas such as your hips and posterior chain muscles. Do you notice a hip shift during your squat? Do you feel more soreness on one side the day after you perform deadlifts? These are indications that you have instability. And the best way to correct instabilities is with single leg exercises such as the single leg RDL.

The single leg RDL can also be an incredible exercise for older adults to help them with their balance, proprioception, and hip strength.
