This whole idea can seem scary and maybe even counterintuitive, but trust me it will encourage your plant to produce so many more flowers than if you don't.
Pinching out encourages the side buds to branch out, giving you a stronger, bushier plant and eventually more flowers.
You only need to do this once, just above the third or fourth leaf pair of leaves.
