Here is the last in my series on how to play altissimo notes on the sax. Today we look at altissimo G a 9th above the normal range.
This is the fingering:
C1, C2, C3, C4
Or if you prefer
Palm D, palm Eb, high E, palm F
Or most simply,
Finger high F.
This is right at the limit of what I can comfortably manage at the moment.You may need to use an air attack HAAH, rather than tonguing at first.
