DISCLAIMERS & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Note for this guide, not all PS1 games will work due to the current internal emulator for Fake Package PS1 titles. For this video please refer to the PS1 Compatibility List Dev Wiki Guide to see which titles are compatible.

• P.S: PlayStation 1 Emulation on the PS4 is very low so please take this into consideration when testing your own dump's/PKG's. I recommend if user's happen to have other consoles that is modded such as a PS Vita, PSP, PlayStation 1 Classic, PS2, PS3 you'll have have far better compatibility. Alternatively you can utilize RetroArch for the PS4, which play's PS1 title's just fine. For more information please check the supplemental readings/videos below which will provide a source on how to play classic PlayStation 1 titles on a multitude of devices.

• This method will also work with 5.05 consoles as long as your downport your game title via with PSXFPKG tool.

• As of right now there isn't support for multidisc based titles.



Prerequisites:

• Modded PlayStation 4 that is on firmware 6.72 Firmware or lower.
• A PC
• PS1 FPKG Conversion Tool.exe
• Al Azif’s DNS Setup (To run MIRA).
• Any COMPATIBLE PS1 game in .BIN format.
• PS1 Devwiki Emulation Compatibility List.
• USB Stick either formatted to FAT32 or EXFAT Recommended to have a 32GB or more*
• Optional: PS1 Cover Art. (I will provide a repository as .ZIP that has over 1,522 CoverArt photo’s for the PS1 titles.)
• Knowing your PS1 title’s Content ID. (PlayStation DataCenter (PlayStation DataCenter will provide this information.)
