Flute dynamics can be difficult but today we look at how to play loud and soft on the flute. These are some of my favorite tips and approaches to playing louder (Forte) and softer (piano) on the flute and moving between the two (crescendos and Descrescendos).

Flute practice can be so much fun but often we spend time just playing the music instead of focusing on specific techniques and practicing the things we struggle the most with! I have a bit of fun with this bad practice habit of ours, but if we pay more attention to the things we don't enjoy we will be able to get better at the flute.
