How to plug a tire in 5 minutes. This DIY video walks through the process and basics of plugging a tire. It focuses on things you should be aware of when plugging your own tire. I usually don’t use the cement that comes in plug kits, mainly because I never have it handy and it seems to flake off over time, but you could coat the rubbery stick with cement right before you patch it for extra security.

Remember, check if you paid for lifetime road hazard when you bought your tires as you may be able to get a replacement tire or plugged for free.
