How do you store sleeping bag correctly? It is easy. To properly store your sleeping bag, put it in the storage bag (not the compression bag) that comes with almost every sleeping bag. You could also hang up your sleeping bags. Those are the best ways to store them so they retain the majority of their fluff, which is what will keep you warm. A saggy compressed bag will not perform anywhere near its rating. DO NOT LEAVE THE BAG COMPRESSED FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, AND THEN PUT THEM IN YOUR BAG TO GO ON A TRIP! You will think it is the bags fault you are cold, but it would be your fault. Below are my tips!

If you leave it compressed for long periods of time, do this!
Take the bag out and lay it flat to puff up for TWO WEEKS prior to your trip.

If you leave it in the storage bag that comes with the sleeping bag, do this!
Take the bag out and lay it flat to puff up for TWO DAYS prior to your trip.

If you hang your sleeping bags up, do this!
Nothing. Your bag is ready to roll when you are.
