In this video, I talk about how to quickly look up zoning in Halifax. This can also be applied to other counties too. If you're interested in subdividing, building a structure or opening a business, this can be useful.

This technique is to be primarily used as a quick tool to rule
out properties that would not be suitable to open a business on or
to subdivide. It's also to give you a preliminary indication that you
could open a business or subdivide, but that requires further
research. Subdivision is complex and you also need to have
permissions for a driveway, utilities, among other requirements.
