In this video, one of our resident fastener specialists talks about how you can remove installed pop rivets. Blind rivets are considered to be permanent fasteners, they are not designed to be removed. The specialist demonstrates the removal process using some preinstalled structural pop (blind) rivets and a Norseman CTD drill bit. We recommend using a drill bit that matches the diameter of the rivet or that is one fractional size smaller than the rivet during the removal process.
