Read this before removing the governor:
Removing the governor from your engine will increase the rpm and will give you more performance however take caution not to rev your engine on full throttle. You must remember to ease off and back on the throttle otherwise you can blow your engine. The stock parts may not be able to handle the constant higher rpms. Removing the governor from your engine is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damages done to your engine.

This video will show you how to remove the governor from a 4 stroke 9HP stationary engine. This particular engine is a G270 Loncin engine used on gokarts just like the Gx270 Honda engines. This removal is usually done for Gokart racing. This is recommended for performance purposes only.
