Thanks for watching! This video goes over how to remove the backseat on a Toyota Camry for the years 20072011 (XV40). The supplies needed are a crowbar and lots of strength. The removal and installation are quite simple as the seat is held in by two clips. The hardest part of this is the removal of the bench which the crowbar and your strength are needed. Without damaging the vehicle interior, carefully slide the crowbar under the bench from one side to the clip point and push up to unclip the bench; the same applied to the other side/clip. With both clips removed the bench can be easily slid out. For installation simply slide the bench back in making sure to have the seat belt buckles pulled above the bench. Once in place ensure that the clips are in the slots, push the bench down above the clip points, and an audible click in place.

Here is part 2, how to remove the upper backrest of the seat:    • How to Remove the Back Seat | Part 2 ...

The car that is being worked on is a 2007 Toyota Camry SE 2.4L 4cylinder engine. This generation of Toyota Camry is called the XV40, runs the year 20072009. The backseat configuration for the SE trim is slightly different from the other trim models. This is because the seats do not fold down as there is a strut bar behind the backrest.
