Hello, and welcome! My name is Tyler, I'm a concept artist working in the game industry. I've worked on projects for a multitude of clients, ranging from Indie studios to larger AAA game studios such as Epic Games and Blizzard.
In today's episode we'll look at a brief overview of how to render, and applying flat colors and basic shadows to a sketch. I tried to keep it pretty basic, but hopefully it'll provide some ideas that can be applied to more intricate renderings.
We also briefly look at some other options, like gradients maps, to further provide some ideas that you may be able to implement in your work.
Of course, if you have any other methods that you prefer, feel free to share!
