How To Replace Wicks on Bath u0026 Body 3 Wick Candles

In this video I show you how to change the wicks on a candle. I have had to do this on a few poor performing Bath & Body Works candles.

If the wick is not burning well, you will get a weak fragrance throw, it can cause tunneling, and you start to get smoky smell.

First try one hour in the freezer to see if the wax falls out. If it doesn't fall out, Give it more time until it loosens up.

Give the candle about 30 mins to 1 hour to defrost after the wax is loose from the jar. If you handle the candle wax right away it will crack into more pieces easily.

Aside from a flat head screwdriver, you can also use tweezers to lift out the wick from the wax.

The Eco wicks are interwoven with paper and it makes them burn hotter, but they also produce more soot. I recommend the 2.5mm diameter 100% cotton wicks as replacement wicks for the bath and body works candles.
