A RAM reset is useful if your calculator is ever giving you errors or is not working properly. It will reset everything to the factory settings, but will not delete apps or programs stored in the archive.

A Full Memory Clear is most often used before standardized tests to ensure that students are not able to use notes or programs during the exam.
