This is one of the most important and fundamental isometric positions to master on the rings in order to progress efficiently with your ring training. Having a solid support hold, especially with the rings turned out (RTO), has strong transferability when it comes to training other advance calisthenics skills that require stability, balance, and straight arm strength.
