Letting a PARK RANGER Decide What I Do For The Day WILDFIRES at North Cascades National Park!
Diablo Lake, Rainy Lake and Washington Pass

A while ago there was a trend "Letting the person in front of me decide what I eat" and I decided to put my own twist on it at a National Park!

I know Park Rangers spend their days recommending things to visitors. I noticed I was the only one at the ranger station, explained what I was doing to the ranger and asked if they wanted to decide what I did for the day They said yes! I was excited to try the experiment and we picked the perfect day!

Diablo Lake lookout might be the most iconic stop in North Cascades National Park. I really wanted to stop at the beach and swim, but parking was way too full. Instead I went on to Washington Pass, Rainy Pass and Rainy Lake and ended the day at Ross Lake Overlook.

Washington Pass was overshadowed by Wildfire Smoke from fires in Washington, but it was still very cool to see while I was at North Cascades!
