We'll look at the best sleeping positions and postures to sleep without piriformis pain, as well as how to position your pillows for support.
Whenever there is hip rotation happening at night, the piriformis muscle can get irritated. Many people experience sciatica pain at night either from piriformis irritation or a lack of spinal stability.
The most important thing is to maintain spinal alignment and support the lumbar spine during sleep to minimize muscular tension.
In this video, I briefly talk about how to adjust your pillow to support your neck as well.
