Our journey begins as we land in Faro, the region's main airport. After picking up our rental car, we'll hit the road to Carvoeiro, a charming fishing village that will serve as our base for exploring the Algarve's coastal wonders.Get ready for a day of jawdropping natural beauty! We'll hike the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged cliffs. Next, we'll visit the famous Benagil Cave, a mesmerizing sea cave with an opening to the sky. Afterward, we'll relax at Praia da Marinha, one of Portugal's most picturesque beaches. Lagos, a historic town with a rich maritime heritage, awaits us on day three. We'll explore its charming old town, possibly catching a glimpse of the iconic Ponta da Piedade lighthouse. Then, we'll venture to Lagos' stunning cliffs and beaches, like Camilo Beach and Dona Ana Beach, true paradises.On day four, we'll head inland to the scenic town of Monchique, nestled in the Serra de Monchique mountain range. The drive itself offers breathtaking views, and once we arrive, we'll be enchanted by the lush landscapes and thermal springs. After experiencing the tranquility of Monchique, we'll head to Algarve's west coast, where hidden gems await. Praia do Amado and Praia da Arrifana are two mustvisit surfers' havens with aweinspiring cliffs and fantastic waves. On our fifth and final day, it's time to bid farewell to this enchanting region. Before we leave, we'll cherish the memories of the picturesque landscapes, coastal wonders, and warm hospitality of Portugal's Algarve.
