This video gives stepbystep instructions on how to safely remove the Schmidtplate (corrector) from a SCT. It then continuous to show the proper method of cleaning the Schmidtplate as well as the primary mirror, insitu. After assembly, the collimation was also done. Although SCTs are quite similar, the specific telescopes shown here are a 16inch Meade LX200 and a 14inch Celestron.
