Its ben a long time coming...I'm finally here with a collar tutorial! In this video I show you how to create a beautifully tailored collar using the carful handwork of bespoke couture techniques. While there are many variations, these same techniques and concepts have stayed the same for over a hundred years! That means you can apply this knowledge to historical sewing projects like an 1890s waistcoat, 18th century mens jacket, or turn of the century menswear, as well as vintage and modern projects! I hope this video makes hand tailoring a little more accessible for those of you wanting to try it out at home!
