The eXtremeRate PS5 controller buttons set for the BDM030 controller are compatible with the BDM040 controller. However, the structure of holding the L2R2 in the BDM040 is different from the BDM040, if you want to take them off from the BDM040, you need a small tool like the SIM card tray pin to help as the video shows.
