It's been a year since my last longform YouTube post, and I thought I'd start off simple with a tutorial on how I transfer my camcorder footage to my computer. I have a tutorial on how to digitize camcorder tapes from a few years back for my Hi8 camcorder footage, but since I've been using my Sony Handycam MiniDv Camcorder (DCRTRV6) more often, I wanted to do a more concise, stepbystep video on how I transfer MiniDV to computer. Technically, MiniDV is already digital (Digital Video), so it's not really digitizing the format, but this process should also work similar for analog formats such as VHS and Hi8 as well.
