In today's video, I demonstrate how to do self myofascial release on your hamstrings using a massage ball.

Hamstrings are one of the most important muscles to stretch, yet no matter how many exercises you try, your hamstrings remain tight.

The solution isn't more static stretching. Your hamstrings are likely tight from a build up of fascial adhesions, commonly referred to as scar tissue.

This build up of fascia makes your elastic, stretchy hamstrings muscles tight and fibrous.

Therefore, instead of stretching, we need to perform a myofascial release massage.

One of the best ways of performing myofascial release massages on your hamstrings is with a massage ball, particular a spiky massage ball.

Using our OcraMed Health Tai Chi Massage Balls, I demonstrate the proper myofascial release techniques for fixing tight hamstrings.

Give these exercises a try and let me know how your treatment's progressing in the comment section.
