If you have a shopvac and it suddenly stops working, this might be the video to help you out! My shopvac stopped working and by implementing a few troubleshooting tips, was able to get it working again. Shopvacs typically have a thermal fuse hidden somewhere inside in order to help prevent fires and ruining/overheating your motor. The fuse is abnormal and typically needs to be ordered online, but I was able to use another fuse that works just the same, though a little modification was needed to get it be secure.
