Sometimes we run into seized fan blades or fan wheels. Utilizing a fan/wheel or hub puller can help in these situations.

In this video we are using the Supco Hub Blaster to demonstrate how to use a hub puller correctly.

Here are the steps in order:

Lubricate the hub puller threads
Clean the motor shaft and add lubrication to the shaft
Fasten the hub puller to the fan hub
Break the seize between shaft and blade with a wrench
Use an impact gun to remove the blade or wheel

**Important**

Do not use an impact gun before breaking the seized parts first. You can damage your impact gun or the hub puller.
