Kids are introduced to the pottery wheel and learn the basic first steps to get them started making their first pottery creations on the pottery wheel!

In this lesson kids practice the first throwing techniques. These skills are essential stepping stones for being able to create the pottery they want in the future.

I recommend NOT using a toy pottery wheel. There are many reasons I will not teach pottery to kids on a toy wheel. They are built cheep so they break easily, don't have enough spin or power which is key for kids success, they don't allow kids to establish the proper techniques and only deliver struggle because they don't work the same.
