This is an amazing entertainment center I got from a neighbor of mine. This piece is beautiful, but I felt like the solid cream color did not do this piece justice. I hope this stepbystep tutorial is helpful with learning how to master the use of dark wax. I had a lot of new items I tried out in this video. It was my first time using the SurfPrep sander, shellac primer, The Chippy Barn paint, as well as Behr’s Decorative Wax in the dark wax.
A few years I watched a Christina Muscari tutorial on how to apply dark wax. Her video was very helpful and a method I have used for years and has worked very well for me. Here is a link to the exact video I watched.
