Windows Authentication presents additional singlesignon option for SQL Managed Instance Azure AD users. Compared to the previously available options, it brings the following benefits:
Works with legacy drivers, that don't have builtin Azure AD support
Works on both Domain Joined, and Azure Active Directory Joined machines
Works in doublehop scenarios (i.e., IIS impersonation)
