How to winterize a seasonal cabin or cottage. In this video, I show you how I drain the water in the cottage and winterize the pipes for freezing temperatures. I show you step by step how I drain the water from each fixture including sinks, showers, toilets, dishwasher, and and RO filter system. I show you how I use compressed air to blow out the lines and then then I add antifreeze to the drain pipes. Finally, I remove the aerators that typically cause issues when sediment blocks them when the water is turned back on.
