How walking on softer surfaces can help with SI joint dysfunction!

✨When you have SI joint dysfunction, you can have pain from the joints not being in the proper alignment.

Not only in the SI joint itself, but also all of the other joints involved in moving and walking, such as your:

hips
knees
ankles
feet

When you throw one part of the kinetic chain out of alignment, it can create issues in other places.

One big thing you can do to help take away this pain is to try walking on a softer surface, like a nature trail or a track.

✨This reduces the force traveling up your leg each time you take a step.

You might find this lets you get a lot more steps in than walking on concrete… give it a try!
