How we mapped the world | Triangulation Everest and The Great Trigonometrical Survey

Sometimes the title feels a bit short to represent what's in the video. And, this is one of those cases, even though it is still really long.
In this video I am going to show you the math behind the process of Triangulation, which was extensively used surveying technique to measure distances and determine positions. We will also go deep into the history, and see how India was measured and mapped, a process which took seven decades to complete. And then, there's the curious case of Mount Everest.
