HSD JETS F16 (TURBINE jet engine IN an EPO FOAM JET !)
23 years ago you wouldn't have dreamed that someone would be mad enough to put a micro jet engine inside of an airframe made from EPO foam...but that's exactly what HSD Jets have done! And it works as Colin demonstrates. Colin took delivery of the HSD F16 direct from the factory (without the PNP engine option) for a review in RCJI Magazine and fitted his own Kingtech K70. A little over the recommended engine size but Colin Strauss gave this combination the thumbs up after tinkering with the ECU and receiver battery placement to get a good CG.
